We are a creative homeschooling family of 3. I have homeschooled my 2 boys from the start and we do lots of unit studies and get out into our beautiful part of the world as often as we can.
As the boys are getting older and we are getting busier I find I am posting less about our journey but will continue to update occasionally.

Unlikely Friends

Emerald is preening Minx

Minx is purring

Minx is rolling around so Emi can get all over her

They seem to love each other and Emerald races up to Minx as soon as she sees her, Minx buts her head into Emerald and rolls on top of her, Emi jumps out just in time then jumps back on top of Minx.

They are lovely but I am locking Em into her cage when they can't be directly supervised or when one of them gets a bit rowdy.

That's amazing! They look so cute together! We had friends with a Rainbow Lorikeet and it used to imitate the smoke alarm and microwave beeping perfectly. LOL.

How lovely!!
I'm absolutely amazed. How did you train the cat not to chase the bird?!
The photos are gorgeous, Louise! :)

Alecat, the cat is not trained at all and we don't let them be together unsupervised, but they adore each another! They run to each other and greet each other every time they see each other when Em is out of her cage and Minx sits under her cage when we put Em away because they have got too rowdy together.
