Mr6 has been wanting a new pet since his darling
Miss Meggy passed.
We have discussed to possibility of adopting a pony, a
giraffe, an elephant!
Luckily for us he has decided a baby chicken would be perfect.

Her ( we are hoping it's a her) name is Nutmeg!

and our little one is in love with his new little pet.

Chicks are fun. Mind the snakes!
Sandy in the UK
Thanks Sandy,
we are being very careful outside with her and really keeping the grass mowed short, its a challenge in the heat and with all the rain.
The chicky looks like a girl but it's so hard to tell. We have a new one we think is a (another) rooster (sigh) he had two mummies but one was taken the other night. Now he and mummy number two are sleeping in Lil's library! a lot of our hens let us pick them up and they are soooo cute.
Nice pet choice!
Thanks for your input BIO, I need to put some new pics on she/ he has grown so much!
